Job Description

The Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining fundamental models, tracking key industry data, monitoring market developments, and identifying catalysts that may create investment opportunities.

Your Objectivies:

Generate actionable investment ideas through rigorous fundamental research and data-driven analysis

Build and maintain detailed supply-and-demand models across commodity markets

Design, enhance, and scale analytical tools and research workflows while staying current on market research and industry insights

Analyze commodity datasets for specific markets and deliver timely ad hoc analysis in response to short-term market developments

Assess, validate, and continuously improve the quality and reliability of data inputs

Skills Required:

Prior experience in commodities or related markets

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic or professional background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or economics

Strong academic record, evidenced by a high GPA (above 3.8) or a First Class Honours degree

Solid expertise in financial modeling, with hands-on experience using Python and/or VBA, and Matlab

Exceptional analytical and quantitative capabilities, coupled with a high level of precision and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
