Job Description
Investment Associates collaborate closely with Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers to develop investment ideas through rigorous bottom-up fundamental research within a market-neutral framework. High-performing Associates are progressively entrusted with greater responsibility, with a clear path toward advancement into an Investment Analyst role.
Your Objectivies:
Conduct differentiated, bottom-up fundamental analysis of companies, business models, key industry metrics, and competitive dynamics, developing deep expertise within a defined sub-sector
Build detailed valuation frameworks and maintain comprehensive financial models in Excel
Synthesize research findings and present well-supported long and short investment recommendations to Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers
Actively participate in quarterly earnings calls and monitor material news, corporate developments, and catalysts for covered companies
Attend industry conferences and management meetings to deepen sector knowledge and inform investment views
Identify, track, and analyze relevant industry and company-specific performance metrics
Assess and initiate coverage on new investment opportunities
Skills Required:
Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, long-only asset management, and/or sell-side equity research
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, preferably in finance, economics, engineering, or computer science
Demonstrated passion for fundamental analysis and investing in public equity markets
Strong command of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
Proven valuation experience with advanced Excel-based financial modeling capabilities
Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
